After becoming trapped in a snowstorm high in the mountains, two woodcutters seek shelter in a remote lodge where they encounter a mysterious female spirit who kills one of the men and spares the other on one chilling condition: he must never speak of what he witnessed. Years later, the surviving woodcutter marries a beautiful woman named Yuki, but when dark secrets from the past begin to resurface, their quiet life is threatened by forces both human and supernatural.
 
Adapted from Lafcadio Hearn’s legendary collection of Japanese ghost stories, The Snow Woman blends eerie folklore, tragic romance and hypnotic atmosphere into a deeply melancholic
