A Moment of Romance Blu-ray delivers one of the defining films of Hong Kong heroic romance, blending explosive triad action with aching melodrama. Small-time hood Wah Dee (Andy Lau) is hired as a getaway driver for a heist that goes catastrophically wrong, forcing him to abduct Jo Jo (Jacklyn Wu) to survive. When both criminals and police mark her for death, the pair flee together, forming a doomed romance chased by violence from all sides. Sensationally directed by Benny Chan in his feature debut and produced by Johnnie To and Ringo Lam, A Moment of Romance became a template for later Hong Kong crime cinema, pairing raw brutality with emotional vulnerability. This limited edition Blu-ray presents the film in a new 4K restoration with extensive archival and newly produced extras.
