Based on the novel by Ira Levin, the film blends postwar paranoia, political suspense and sinister science into a tense story of Nazi fugitives, hidden agendas and a terrifying global plot.
 
Barry Kohler, a young Nazi hunter, tracks former SS officers who escaped justice after the Second World War. His investigation leads him to Paraguay, where the infamous Dr. Mengele is involved in a secret plan connected to a series of mysterious deaths and the strange identities of identical young boys around the world.
 
Directed by Academy Award winner Franklin J.
