The Screaming Skull Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Alex Nicol’s 1958 gothic horror film in a UK import release from Eureka Classics. Adapted from a short story by Francis Marion Crawford, the film is an atmospheric American International Pictures chiller filled with haunted-house unease, psychological dread and shadowy mansion mystery.
 
After marrying Eric Whitlock, the wealthy Jenni moves into his secluded country estate, inherited after the death of his first wife, Marion. Uneasy about Marion’s fate and disturbed by strange events around the property, Jenni begins to fear that the past has not been laid to rest.
 
Influenced by gothic melodramas such as Rebecca and Gaslight, while anticipating later haunted-house classics, The Screaming Skull is a compact and eerie slice of independent American horror. This limited edition UK Blu-ray marks the film’s first UK release on the format and includes a new introduction, video essay, trailers, collector’s booklet and limited O-card packaging.
