Fuyuto Morioka, a chief prosecutor for the Ministry of Justice, is arrested under suspicious circumstances and escapes custody to clear his name. Pursued by police and shadowy armed figures, Morioka begins uncovering a conspiracy involving government corruption, corporate power and a dangerous drug developed by a sinister pharmaceutical company.
 
A major Japanese blockbuster and later the inspiration for John Woo’s 2017 remake, Manhunt is a sprawling, action-driven thriller featuring Ken Takakura alongside Yoshio Harada, Ryo Ikebe, Kunie Tanaka and Ko Nishimura.
