The Killer Elite (1975) Limited Edition Hardbox Blu-ray presents Sam Peckinpah’s 1975 action thriller in a 2-disc Australian import region free release. James Caan stars as Mike Locken, a contract operative working for Com-Teg, a private company tied to the CIA, alongside his longtime friend and colleague George Hansen, played by Robert Duvall.
 
When George accepts a better offer and betrays Mike, their partnership turns into a dangerous conflict shaped by revenge, loyalty and survival. Set against the world of covert assignments, assassins and shifting alliances, the film brings Peckinpah’s hard-edged style to a story of betrayal in the shadowy machinery of intelligence work.
 
Shot in San Francisco by Philip Lathrop, co-edited by Monte Hellman and featuring music by Jerry Fielding, The Killer Elite also stars Arthur Hill, Bo Hopkins and Gig Young. This Limited Edition Hardbox includes the original version, alternative theatrical cut, new and archival commentaries, featurettes, interviews, video essay, image galleries, isolated score, trailers, TV and radio spots.
