Gypsy 83 The Director's Cut Blu-ray presents Todd Stephens’ cult road movie in a newly reimagined version featuring more than 40 minutes of previously unseen footage and a new 4K restoration from the original 35mm camera negative.
 
Gypsy Vale and her younger friend Clive Webb are goth outsiders stuck in Sandusky, Ohio, united by their obsession with Stevie Nicks and dreams of something bigger. When they discover that a New York City club is hosting a Night of 1000 Stevies, the pair hit the road hoping Gypsy will finally get her chance to perform.
 
Along the way, encounters with fellow outsiders force both travellers to confront who they are and what they want from their lives. Starring Sara Rue and Birkett Turton alongside Karen Black, John Doe and Paulo Costanzo, Gypsy 83 puts a queer outsider spin on the road movie and coming-of-age story, backed by music from The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Echo and the Bunnymen and more.
