Salon Kitty Blu-ray presents Tinto Brass’s 1976 historical drama in its Extended Director’s Cut. Set in Berlin during the final years of the Third Reich, the film follows a high-class salon that becomes a covert surveillance operation, where private conversations are secretly recorded and used as tools of political control.
 
Helmut Berger stars as Wallenberg, an ambitious SS officer who turns Salon Kitty into a trap for officers, diplomats and party officials. Madame Kitty, played by Ingrid Thulin, is forced into the scheme, while Margherita, played by Teresa Ann Savoy, begins to uncover the truth behind the operation and the dangerous motives driving it.
 
Provocative, stylized and politically charged, Salon Kitty explores decadence, corruption and betrayal within a collapsing regime. This Blu-ray edition includes an English-language Tinto Brass interview, trailers, improved subtitles, reversible sleeve, art card, reproduced poster and slipcover.
