Videodrome 4K Ultra HD brings David Cronenberg’s mind-bending sci-fi horror classic to collectors in a new 4K restoration approved by the director. Blending visceral body horror with prophetic themes of media manipulation and technology, this remains one of Cronenberg’s most defining and influential works.

Max Renn (James Woods), the president of a sleazy television network, is constantly searching for more extreme programming to boost ratings. When he discovers a mysterious broadcast known as “Videodrome,” featuring brutal and seemingly real acts of violence, he becomes obsessed with uncovering its source.

As Max draws his partner Nicki (Deborah Harry) deeper into the mystery, the line between hallucination and reality begins to dissolve. What follows is a descent into a world of conspiracies, psychological manipulation, and grotesque physical transformation, brought to life through groundbreaking practical effects by Rick Baker.

A landmark of 1980s horror and science fiction, Videodrome continues to resonate with its unsettling vision of media, control, and the evolution of the human body.
