The Boyle family — Lucy (Catriona MacColl), Norman (Paolo Malco), and their young son Bob (Giovanni Frezza) — relocate from New York City to a secluded New England home with a dark past. Unbeknownst to them, the house harbours a sinister presence lurking beneath its foundations.
 
As strange occurrences escalate and the body count rises, the family uncovers the horrifying secret of Dr. Freudstein, a monstrous figure whose legacy of death continues within the cellar walls. With its eerie atmosphere, shocking violence, and unforgettable imagery, Fulci’s film stands as one of the most unsettling works of Italian horror.
