Inspired by the real-life crimes of Henry Lee Lucas, the film follows drifter Henry (Michael Rooker) as he hides behind a mundane job by day while committing seemingly random acts of violence by night. When his unstable acquaintance Otis and Otis’ sister Becky enter his orbit, the fragile balance of Henry’s dark world begins to unravel.
 
Bleak, confrontational and deeply unsettling, Henry remains one of the most controversial and influential serial killer films ever made, stripping away genre sensationalism in favour of stark realism.
