Directed by Les Sekely, Vampire Time Travelers functions as an early precursor to the deliberately chaotic anti-comedy later embraced by Adult Swim, stacking crude jokes, whiplash editing, and meta humor until viewer disorientation becomes the punchline. Its anything-goes structure, total disregard for narrative stability, and relentless sensory escalation place it firmly in the lineage of DIY absurdism that would later be refined by Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and The Eric Andre Show. This collector’s edition also includes Sekely’s companion feature I Know What You Did In English Class (2000), expanding the release into a double feature of maximalist SOV chaos.
