Schirkoa: In Lies We Trust Blu-ray presents Ishan Shukla’s 2024 animated dystopian sci-fi feature from Dark Star Pictures and OCN Distribution. Set in the polished, seemingly perfect society of Schirkoa, the film imagines a world where citizens wear paper bags over their heads in an effort to erase difference and maintain order.
 
But beneath the surface, unrest begins to grow. Rumours spread of a mythical land where people live without the bags, and when a new council member accidentally sparks a revolution, Schirkoa’s carefully controlled society begins to unravel.
 
Strange, stylish and politically charged, Schirkoa: In Lies We Trust blends speculative science fiction, surreal satire and striking animation into a bold vision of conformity, identity and resistance.
