Joined by uneasy collaborators played by Otto Waldis and Marilyn Nash, the expedition descends into darkness both literal and moral, confronting isolation, dwindling resources, and the crushing weight of extinction-level fear.

Scripted by Oscar® nominee Millard Kaufman — and long rumored to include uncredited contributions from blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo — Unknown World stands apart from its era’s more optimistic genre fare.
