Shot in 1970s Staten Island standing in for 19th-century New England, Legacy of Blood Blu-ray captures Milligan at his most abrasive and uncompromising. With original pre-print materials believed destroyed, the complete uncut theatrical version has been newly scanned in 2K from the only known surviving 35mm release print, while the television cut with additional footage is sourced from a vintage video master.
