The Owl vs. Bumbo Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Sammo Hung’s 1984 Hong Kong action comedy from 88 Films. Directed by and starring Hung alongside George Lam, Stanley Shui-Fan Fung, Deannie Yip and Michelle Yeoh in her first film role, the film blends crime comedy, reform-school chaos, blackmail and Hong Kong action energy.

Chan and Wong, better known as Bumbo and The Owl, believe their criminal pasts are behind them. But when former cop Chung resurfaces and blackmails them, the pair are forced into an unlikely new role teaching at a reform school.

As old habits, hidden motives and new complications pile up, Bumbo and The Owl are pulled into a fast-moving mix of action, comedy and hijinks. This limited edition Blu-ray includes a 2K restoration from the original negative, Cantonese audio, commentary, featurette, trailer, image gallery, reversible sleeve and O-ring slipcase.
