Queen Kelly Blu-ray presents one of cinema’s most infamous unfinished productions, a lavish and controversial silent-era drama directed by Erich von Stroheim.
 
Originally conceived as a groundbreaking collaboration between Gloria Swanson and von Stroheim, the film was halted mid-production, leaving behind a fragmented but visually striking work. Set across a fictional European court and colonial Africa, the story follows an innocent young woman drawn into a world of decadence, cruelty and obsession, culminating in a dark and unsettling narrative.
 
This restored version reconstructs the intended story using original materials and scripts, offering a rare glimpse into von Stroheim’s ambitious vision, complemented by a newly composed orchestral score.
