Maryam d’Abo stars as a beautiful vampire who awakens after a century of slumber and finds herself suddenly thrust into the modern world. Struggling to understand the unfamiliar surroundings of the twentieth century, she becomes the object of affection for two very different suitors.

One is a compassionate doctor determined to help her adjust to modern life, while the other is a sinister ancient vampire played by Ben Cross, who intends to claim her as his eternal bride. As the two rivals clash, Nightlife unfolds into a strange and entertaining mix of romance, comedy and supernatural horror.
