Written, produced, directed, and starring Dallas auteur Palmer Rockey, this long-lost magnum opus began life as It Happened One Weekend before being reworked for decades into Scarlet Love, Love Is Deep Inside, and finally the jaw-dropping cult artifact known as Scarlet Warning 666.

Rockey plays twin brothers entangled in satanic skulduggery, occult rituals, and surreal melodrama on a country estate. Laughed off the screen at its original 1974 premiere, the film was later reframed by its creator as intentional “satire,” complete with an original rock soundtrack performed by Rockey himself. The result is a stupefying, meta-cinematic fever dream that goes beyond Plan 9 from Outer Space and The Room into a realm entirely its own.

Lovingly restored in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative and rescued by Grindhouse Releasing for its first-ever home video release, this strictly limited collector’s edition includes a bonus CD soundtrack and a wealth of interviews and archival materials.
