Part of the Cinématographe line from Vinegar Syndrome, Liebestraum Blu-ray presents a long-overlooked 90s neo-noir in its uncensored director’s cut, newly restored in 2K from the original negatives for its world Blu-ray debut.

Kevin Anderson stars as Nick, an architecture professor who returns to a small Illinois town to visit his dying mother. As he reconnects with his past, he becomes entangled in a web of buried secrets tied to a long-forgotten crime, while developing a dangerous attraction to the wife of an old friend. As memory, desire and guilt collide, the truth begins to unravel in increasingly unsettling ways.

Directed by Mike Figgis, Liebestraum Blu-ray blends erotic tension with psychological mystery, supported by a strong cast including Pamela Gidley, Bill Pullman and Kim Novak. With atmospheric cinematography and a haunting score by Figgis himself, the film stands as a distinctive and underseen entry in 1990s American noir.
