Corruption Limited Edition Blu-ray is a striking early Italian New Wave drama from acclaimed director Mauro Bolognini. Combining elegant visual style with biting social commentary, this rarely seen classic explores the conflict between spiritual conviction and material temptation in a rapidly changing post-war Italy.

Fresh from his studies in Switzerland, the quiet and deeply religious Stefano has made the life-changing decision to enter the priesthood. His father Leonardo, a wealthy and powerful publishing magnate, refuses to accept his son's choice and sees it as a rejection of everything he has built. Determined to change Stefano's mind, Leonardo invites him on a luxurious yacht trip alongside his glamorous mistress. What begins as an apparent attempt at reconciliation gradually reveals itself to be a calculated effort to seduce Stefano away from his spiritual path and into a world of wealth, pleasure and moral compromise.

Featuring powerful performances from Jacques Perrin, Alain Cuny and Rosanna Schiaffino, Corruption is an incisive examination of family, faith and ambition. With its cool New Wave aesthetics and sharp critique of Italy's emerging consumer culture, the film stands as one of the hidden gems of 1960s European cinema.
