American Horror Project Vol. 2 Blu-ray continues Arrow Video’s acclaimed series dedicated to rediscovering forgotten gems of American independent horror. Co-curated by author Stephen Thrower, this collection presents three newly restored cult films from the golden age of US regional filmmaking, each showcasing the creativity and strange imagination of low-budget horror cinema.

All three films have been restored in 2K from the best surviving elements and appear together with extensive archival material and new critical features.

This collection includes:

Dream No Evil (1970)
Dark August (1976)
The Child (1977)

Dream No Evil follows a young evangelist searching for her long-lost father whose fragile mental state leads her into a nightmarish spiral of fantasy and violence. Dark August explores rural folk horror as a man becomes convinced he is the victim of a deadly supernatural curse after a tragic accident. The Child delivers surreal zombie horror as a mysterious girl raises the dead to take revenge on those responsible for her mother’s death.

Together these films capture the experimental spirit of regional American horror, blending psychological dread, occult themes and independent filmmaking ingenuity.
