American Gigolo Standard Edition 4K Ultra HD presents Paul Schrader’s sleek neo-noir in a stunning 4K remaster from the original negative by Arrow Films. A defining portrait of late-70s Los Angeles excess, this stylish thriller marked Richard Gere’s breakthrough performance and became an icon of the disco era.

Julian Kay (Richard Gere) is a high-end male escort moving effortlessly through the luxury hotels and hillside mansions of L.A.’s elite. But when one of his clients is brutally murdered, Julian finds himself framed for the crime. As he fights to clear his name, he is forced to confront not only a dangerous conspiracy but also the carefully constructed identity he has built for himself.

Featuring cinematography by John Bailey, razor-sharp direction from Schrader, fashion-defining costumes by Giorgio Armani and a pulsating Giorgio Moroder soundtrack including Blondie’s “Call Me,” American Gigolo remains a landmark of sensual, character-driven crime drama.
