WarGames Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD presents John Badham’s 1983 sci-fi thriller in a UK import release from Arrow Films. Matthew Broderick stars as David Lightman, a bright high-school student and computer hobbyist whose search for new games leads him into a dangerous mistake.

When David unknowingly hacks into WOPR, a Department of Defense supercomputer, he begins playing what he thinks is a simulation called Global Thermonuclear War. Instead, he sets off a chain of events that could trigger World War III, forcing him and his friend Jennifer to track down the computer’s reclusive creator before the game becomes reality.

Smart, suspenseful and still disturbingly relevant, WarGames remains one of the defining technology thrillers of the 1980s.
