The Basement Horror Anthology 3-Disc Set 1989 Blu-ray brings the once-lost independent horror anthology to HD for the first time, newly scanned and restored in 4K from the original Super 8mm elements.
Four strangers are mysteriously drawn into the claustrophobic depths of a decaying basement, where they encounter the hooded figure known as the Sentinel. Each is forced to witness a terrifying vision of the sins they are destined to commit, with eternal damnation awaiting those unable to confront their fate.
Originally shot on Super 8mm in 1989, The Basement remained unfinished until 2010, when it was completed with a new soundtrack and dub. Terror Vision’s extensive release restores the film alongside newly discovered original production audio and a massive collection of short films, archival footage, interviews, commentaries and other material spanning years of independent genre filmmaking. A CD soundtrack completes the 3-disc set.
