Srigala 1981 Blu-ray brings Sisworo Gautama Putra’s Indonesian slasher to disc for the first time worldwide, newly scanned in 2K from the original camera negative and presented in its original aspect ratio.
 
Inspired in part by the early American slasher boom while drawing on the stylized horror of filmmakers such as Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci, Srigala became a notable entry in Southeast Asian genre cinema. A trio of treasure hunters travel to a remote lake in search of a submerged fortune, only to encounter a group of vacationing college friends.
 
Attempts to frighten the newcomers away with stories of ghosts and demons soon become terrifyingly real as someone, or something, begins hunting the group one by one. Terror Vision’s release includes two additional minutes of footage along with newly produced interviews and subtitles.
