In The Base (1999), Army Intelligence officer John Murphy (Mark Dacascos) is sent to investigate a murder on a military base, only to uncover a deeper conspiracy involving drug trafficking and rogue soldiers operating within the ranks. As he pushes further into the operation, Murphy finds himself isolated, outnumbered and forced into a direct confrontation with those who have taken control.
 
The Base 2: Guilty as Charged (2000) shifts the action into even darker territory, as Murphy (Antonio Sabàto Jr.) goes undercover to infiltrate a secret military tribunal where convicted soldiers are hunted for sport. What begins as an investigation quickly turns into a brutal fight for survival, where escaping the game is only part of the battle.
