Slime City Blu-ray brings together Gregory Lamberson’s goo-drenched cult classic and its riotous sequel in a double feature packed with mutant mayhem and DIY splatter spirit. Originally released in 1989, Slime City follows a struggling student who moves into a decaying New York apartment building and accidentally unleashes a toxic legacy tied to a long-dead cult, transforming him into a murderous, slime-spewing monster. Shot on a shoestring and fueled by punk attitude, the film became a staple of late-night horror fandom thanks to its outrageous gore, anarchic tone, and unapologetic excess.

The carnage escalates in Slime City Massacre (2010), where a greedy real estate tycoon sends mercenaries into a ruined urban wasteland to clear out the homeless—only for them to stumble into a surviving cult of oozing slime creatures. What follows is an all-out war for control of Slime City, blending social satire, monster mayhem, and buckets of fluorescent goo. Presented together for the first time in high definition, this Blu-ray release celebrates Lamberson’s splatter legacy with an extensive slate of commentaries, interviews, and behind-the-scenes material.
