A series of grisly murders are taking place across the Italian city of Turin, prompting fears that a copycat killer is on the loose. Those murders were pinned on Vincenzo de Fabritiis, who subsequently passed away, effectively closing the case. Now, Detective Ulisse Moretti, together with young Giacomo Gallo, attempts to unravel the mystery of these new slayings as the mutilated corpses continue to pile up.

Returning to the atmosphere and themes of his landmark giallo Deep Red (1975), 2001’s Sleepless 4K Blu-ray marks horror maestro Dario Argento’s welcome return to the subgenre with which he made his name. Starring Max von Sydow and featuring Grand Guignol set pieces by practical FX wizard Sergio Stivaletti, along with a pulse-pounding score by Goblin, Vinegar Syndrome presents this 4K restoration with new and archival bonus features.
