This 7-film, multi-disc Severin Films set includes the gothic chiller Crypt of the Vampire, the cult favourite Castle of the Living Dead, the German-made Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace, the vivid and violent The Torture Chamber of Dr. Sadism, and the elusive Italian oddity Challenge the Devil. Also included are all 24 surviving episodes of Theatre Macabre, remastered from film materials, plus more than ten hours of commentaries, interviews, archival promos, documentaries, rare digest shorts, galleries, a CD soundtrack and an extensive 88-page book by biographer Jonathan Rigby. This is the most complete archival collection ever assembled from Lee’s European period.
