To survive, he’ll need to rely on modern machismo, questionable karate skills, and sheer determination — all while attempting to woo the literal cavegirl of his dreams, Hea-Thor.

Produced, written and directed by cult filmmaker, fan-film pioneer, Marvel Comics scribe and Star Wars novelist Don Glut, Dinosaur Valley Girls is far more inventive than its late-night cable reputation suggests. The film embraces full-on world-building, complete with stop-motion dinosaurs, original musical numbers, off-the-wall cameos, and even a fully constructed fictional language for its prehistoric cast.

What could have been disposable Skinemax fodder instead becomes a wildly imaginative cult oddity — equal parts fantasy adventure, exploitation parody, and affectionate genre send-up — bursting with sincerity, creativity, and more dad jokes than you can shake an Allosaurus bone at.
