But when a detective uncovers a trail of deaths connected to the group, Bob is forced to confront cloaked assassins, monstrous entities, and the cult’s charismatic extraterrestrial leader.
 
Directed by indie auteur Jeff Leroy, The Screaming is an unfiltered attack on celebrity-driven belief systems, wrapped in sleazy pulp horror aesthetics and thick with doom-soaked atmosphere. Equal parts satire and nightmare logic, the film drips with gooey stop-motion effects, shadowy femme fatales, and raw SOV-era ambition, cementing its reputation among fans of outsider horror.
