As greed and violence escalate, the ocean becomes a battleground where divers are stalked beneath the waves. Directed by Tonino Ricci from a screenplay by Tito Carpi, the film features jaw-dropping underwater stunt work by Ramón Bravo and a gloriously over-the-top synth score by Stelvio Cipriani.
 
Also starring Antonio Fargas, Janet Agren, and John Steiner, Night of the Sharks has earned a reputation as a “weirdly good-natured” and endlessly rewatchable entry in late-era Italian exploitation cinema.
