After escaping from prison, Ning seeks refuge in the Righteous Villa, a crumbling mansion where he encounters two mysterious sisters and their father, a man facing execution after attempting to expose traitors at the imperial court. As political danger and supernatural forces close in, Ning is pulled into another haunted adventure filled with spirits, swordplay and deception.
