The Razor’s Edge Blu-ray presents Jocelyne Saab’s 1985 fiction feature debut in a Region A release from Several Futures. Set during the Lebanese Civil War, the film follows an unlikely connection between Karim, a middle-aged painter, and Samar, a teenager who has grown up amid the instability of war-torn Beirut.
 
Against a backdrop of conflict, displacement and uncertainty, Karim and Samar’s bond offers a fragile space for reflection, memory and survival. Saab brings a documentarian’s eye and a deeply human perspective to the story, grounding the film in the emotional realities of life during wartime.
