The Murder Secret 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents Mario Bianchi’s 1988 Italian horror film in its world UHD premiere from Vinegar Syndrome. Also known as Don’t Be Afraid of Aunt Martha, the film follows Richard Hamilton as he receives a mysterious invitation from Aunt Marta, an estranged relative he has not seen in thirty years.
 
Arriving at her countryside home with his wife and children, Richard finds only the caretaker, Thomas, who claims Marta has been delayed until the following morning. But when she still fails to appear, the family’s confusion turns to mounting dread as an unseen attacker begins targeting them and the awful truth behind Aunt Marta’s secret starts to surface.
 
Released under the “Lucio Fulci presents” banner, The Murder Secret blends late-1980s Italian horror, mystery and grisly slasher atmosphere with performances from Adriana Russo, Gabriele Tinti and Maurice Poli. This 2-disc set features the film newly scanned and restored in 4K from its original camera negative, with Dolby Vision on the UHD, Italian and English mono audio, commentary, new interviews, alternate English title sequence and ending, reversible sleeve artwork and newly translated English subtitles.
