New York Ninja Variant Deluxe Box Blu-ray presents Vinegar Syndrome Pictures’ rescued and reconstructed cult action film in a limited 2-disc Region Free Blu-ray set. John Liu stars as an ordinary New York City sound technician whose life is shattered when his pregnant wife is murdered after witnessing a kidnapping.
 
With the city overwhelmed by crime and the police unable to help, John transforms himself into a white-clad ninja vigilante, taking to the streets with sword in hand to fight back against the criminals terrorizing the city. But as his legend grows, he becomes the target of every criminal in New York, including the mysterious and dangerous Plutonium Killer.
 
Originally shot on 35mm in 1984 but left unfinished for decades, New York Ninja was later reconstructed by Vinegar Syndrome from the original unedited camera negative after the original sound materials were lost. Completed with a newly created soundtrack and voice performances from genre favourites including Don “The Dragon” Wilson, Linnea Quigley, Michael Berryman, Cynthia Rothrock and Ginger Lynn, this release features the film restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera elements, extensive extras and limited variant deluxe packaging.
