Spaceways LE Collector's Ed 4K Ultra HD presents Hammer’s early science fiction thriller restored in 4K from the original film negatives. Blending Cold War paranoia with noir-style intrigue, this unusual Hammer production stars Howard Duff alongside Eva Bartok and Alan Wheatley in a tense tale of space-age murder and espionage.
 
Duff plays Stephen Mitchell, the chief engineer responsible for the world’s first space station. When an experimental unmanned rocket fails during re-entry at the same time that Mitchell’s wife and a fellow scientist mysteriously disappear, suspicion quickly falls on him. Accused of murder and of hiding the bodies aboard the orbiting spacecraft, Mitchell must race to prove his innocence before the truth is lost in space.
 
Directed by Terence Fisher—who would later become one of Hammer’s most influential filmmakers—Spaceways offers an early glimpse at the studio’s fascination with science fiction and suspense.
