Mad Monster Party (1967) Standard Edition Blu-ray presents the beloved stop-motion animated cult classic from Rankin/Bass in a newly colour-corrected high-definition master. Created using the studio's revolutionary "Animagic" process, this frightfully funny family favourite combines classic movie monsters, madcap humour and catchy musical numbers into one of the most unique animated films of the 1960s.

After discovering a formula capable of total world annihilation, Baron Von Frankenstein decides it is time to retire from the monster-making business. Before stepping down, he summons the members of the Worldwide Organization of Monsters to the Isle of Evil and announces his chosen successor. To the horror of Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Mummy and the rest of the assembled creatures, the Baron selects his mild-mannered human nephew Felix to inherit his legacy.

Featuring the voice of horror legend Boris Karloff and designed by MAD Magazine icons Harvey Kurtzman and Jack Davis, Mad Monster Party remains a charming blend of horror parody, animation and musical comedy that continues to delight audiences decades after its original release.
