Set in 1901 Germany, Laurin follows a withdrawn young girl left to navigate a world of neglect and violence after the death of her mother. As a series of murders begins targeting local children, Laurin becomes increasingly entangled in a nightmare of hallucinations and hidden truths. While the adults remain blind to the darkness surrounding them, a sinister force tied to the past begins to surface.
 
Atmospheric, eerie and psychologically rich, Laurin blends gothic horror with arthouse sensibilities, earning its reputation as a controversial and enduring cult classic.
