Mark, played by Christopher Augustine, works as a camera operator shooting low-rent pornography for his sleazy boss Jobal. Outside of work, he prowls L.A.’s peep shows, strip clubs and back alleys, strangling unsuspecting women as his fantasies and frustrations merge into deadly obsession. When he becomes infatuated with Michelle, a model he has filmed, his fractured psyche pushes him toward a chilling Hollywood ending. Captured through the lens of Jean-Pierre Geuens — later the cinematographer of Lemora: A Child’s Tale of the Supernatural — the film stands as a time capsule of Los Angeles grime and exploitation-era filmmaking.
