Set at Echo Lake High, the story centers on star quarterback Rod and head cheerleader Cherri, the untouchable royalty of their school. Their dominance is challenged by Spud, a scooter-riding new kid whose awkward presence threatens the established social order. What begins as a cruel power struggle spirals into a fever dream of repressed desire, exploding bodies, singing genital metaphors, and violent slapstick romance. Beneath the outrageous visuals lies a surprisingly sharp satire of conformity, masculinity, sexuality, and adolescent cruelty.
