The Big Boss 4K Ultra HD marks the explosive debut that transformed Bruce Lee from television actor into an international cinematic icon. Lee stars as Cheng Chao-on, a quiet laborer who travels to Thailand to work at an ice factory alongside his relatives, bound by a promise to renounce violence. When workers begin disappearing and a drug-smuggling operation is uncovered, Cheng is forced to abandon his vow and unleash his legendary fighting prowess. Directed by Lo Wei, The Big Boss is a landmark of Hong Kong cinema, showcasing Lee’s physical intensity, screen presence, and revolutionary approach to martial arts choreography. This limited edition Arrow release presents the film in stunning 4K alongside the fully restored 110-minute Mandarin Cut that originally shocked audiences in 1971.
