Bad Channels Blu-ray delivers Ted Nicolaou’s maniacal rock ’n’ roll sci-fi comedy in a newly remastered HD presentation, bringing this cult oddity to Blu-ray for the first time. Set inside KDUL Superstation 66, the film follows controversial DJ Dangerous Dan O’Dare as he hijacks a polka-only radio station and unleashes a barrage of hard rock on the airwaves—only to attract the attention of an alien invader with a taste for loud music and beautiful women.

When the bizarre extraterrestrial Cosmo lands nearby, he commandeers the station’s signal, miniaturising female listeners and abducting them through the airwaves in a plan to populate his home planet with rock-loving maidens. What follows is a delirious collision of sci-fi absurdity, MTV-era humour, outrageous performances, and cartoonish chaos, powered by an infectious original soundtrack from Blue Öyster Cult.

Directed by Ted Nicolaou, the mind behind TerrorVision and the Subspecies franchise, Bad Channels embraces its late-night cable energy with unfiltered enthusiasm. This Blu-ray presentation features a new HD remaster from the original camera negative, along with a slate of archival extras that celebrate the film’s cult legacy and off-the-wall creativity.
