Crash and Burn Blu-ray delivers a gritty, low-budget sci-fi thriller from the early Full Moon era, set in a dystopian future where environmental collapse and corporate authoritarianism have reshaped the world. In the year 2030, ultraviolet radiation has destroyed the ozone layer, governments have fallen, and a multinational corporation known as Unicom rules through economic control and technological dominance.

At the centre of the resistance is Lathan Hooks, who operates an outlaw television station from a desert junkyard alongside his granddaughter Arren, played by Megan Ward. In a society where computers and robots have been outlawed, their broadcast becomes a symbol of rebellion. When Lathan dies under suspicious circumstances, Arren uncovers evidence of a Synthoid — a nearly indestructible human-like robot programmed to eliminate anyone who threatens Unicom’s power.

As the Synthoid begins its relentless hunt, Arren is forced to resurrect a dormant robot of her own in a last-ditch attempt to stop the killing machine. What follows is a scrappy, high-concept showdown steeped in Cold War paranoia, analog tech fetishism, and classic Full Moon imagination. Featuring an early performance by horror icon Bill Moseley, Crash and Burn arrives on Blu-ray for the first time in HD, newly remastered from the recently unearthed original negative.
