This is part of Degausser Video’s collector-focused line delivering premium editions sourced from original analogue tape materials.
 
On the gritty streets of Mexico City, Commander Quiroga and his partner Miranda battle drug traffickers, bus robberies, and a deranged serial predator named Raúl, who attacks victims using a jeweller’s tool. When a radio host publicly challenges the police for their failures, Quiroga reluctantly joins her show to defend the force—unaware that Raúl’s violent spiral is beginning to target those hunting him. As criminals and officers close in, the city braces for an explosive confrontation.
 
Degausser Video, created by several of the minds behind Vinegar Syndrome, specializes in restoring and releasing canonical and under-seen SOV and tape-edited genre cinema. Like VS focuses on film preservation, Degausser works only from original analogue tape sources and issues each title in an extremely limited “new VHS” format with custom light-box designs.
