A cult slice of early-1980s independent horror, the film follows three college students whose road trip takes a terrifying turn after a car crash leaves them stranded during a rainstorm.
 
Terry, Nancy and Gloria awaken inside a remote Victorian mansion, cut off from the outside world and taken in by Marion Penrose and her disturbed mother, Mrs. Penrose. As the women begin to realize something is deeply wrong inside the house, their shelter becomes a trap and the night descends into paranoia, danger and violence.
 
Dark, grimy and unnerving, Unhinged remains a raw example of low-budget regional horror from the slasher era. This Video Store Day Exclusive VHS release marks the film’s global first VHS edition and is not available on any other format.
