The Veil Blu-ray Set presents the complete, long-lost television anthology series hosted by Boris Karloff, newly restored and released for the first time on Blu-ray. Produced in 1958 at the legendary Hal Roach Studios, the series predates The Twilight Zone and One Step Beyond, exploring mysterious and unexplainable phenomena including time travel, ESP, reincarnation, astral projection, and the supernatural. Despite its top-tier talent and forward-thinking concepts, all twelve episodes of The Veil were never broadcast and vanished for decades.
Featuring Boris Karloff as host and appearing in nearly every episode, the series assembled an extraordinary group of writers, directors, and performers during its brief existence. Creative contributors included jack laird and lászló vadnay, with directing duties handled by figures such as arthur hiller, george waggner, and herbert l. strock. The rotating casts showcased a remarkable lineup of actors, including patrick macnee, katharine squire, niall macginnis, whit bissell, and the first-ever on-screen appearance of george hamilton. Iconoscope presents the complete series newly scanned in 4K from rare archival elements, accompanied by an extensive slate of new and archival bonus features.
This special limited edition Blu-ray set includes a spot gloss and embossed single-walled hard slipcase with slipcover designed by lucas peverill and is limited to 5,000 units.
