The Stupefying Siren Tales of Pamela Sutch Blu-ray collects six wildly eccentric genre features from underground filmmaker Pamela Sutch, one of the most distinctive voices in shot-on-video cinema. A cult actress turned director, Sutch emerged from New Jersey’s infamous W.A.V.E. Productions before launching her own Siren Tales Productions in the early 2000s.

Blending sci-fi, horror, exploitation and surreal comedy, these films embrace the DIY spirit of underground video filmmaking. From the pulpy serial-inspired The Gosh Darned Mortgage to the strange sci-fi adventures Operation Storm Cloud and Project Gamma Ray, and the bizarre feline murder mystery Catastrophy, Sutch’s work sits at the unusual intersection of outsider filmmaking and cult genre cinema.

This Saturn’s Core release gathers six Siren Tales productions together for the first time on Blu-ray, highlighting the work of an underground scream queen who carved out her own singular corner of genre filmmaking.
