The House Of Witchcraft Blu-ray delivers a brooding, dreamlike haunted-house nightmare from Italian genre provocateur Umberto Lenzi. An overworked journalist, recovering from a psychological breakdown and plagued by violent nightmares, retreats to a quiet country home with his wife in hopes of rest and recovery. But the peaceful setting quickly curdles into something far more sinister as the house reveals a dark history that refuses to stay buried.

As hallucinations bleed into waking life, ghosts, buried secrets, and a knife-wielding witch emerge, turning the countryside escape into a psychological and supernatural descent. Directed by Umberto Lenzi, the film blends eerie atmosphere, lingering dread, and sudden brutality, standing apart from his more overtly savage work while still delivering unmistakable Italian horror menace. Anchored by unsettling imagery and a pulsing score by Claudio Simonetti, the film plays like a fever dream steeped in paranoia and occult terror.

Restored from the original negative, this Blu-ray edition presents the film in high definition for the first time in the U.S., accompanied by interviews and commentary that explore the craftsmanship behind Lenzi’s late-period horror cycle.
